Highest level advanced pattern design
GRAFIS is a modern CAD software for pattern design and the construction of shoes. It offers creation and modification of pattern pieces, grading and output to printers and plotters as well as export of the finished pattern in several data formats. In addition, GRAFIS contains a marker making software, which enables placement of completed styles and subsequent plotting. Export to cutters is also possible.
In particular, the interactive basic blocks open up a new world of flexible and user-friendly pattern creation and grading, helping save time and cost, making GRAFIS the perfect tool for made-to-measure patterns.

GRAFIS - Marker making and Autonester
The marker making software offers a large number of settings relating to material, pieces and sizes. Apart from the common functions for butting pieces together including rotation, mirror and adjustment of buffers and allowances, GRAFIS offers functions for special applications. These include matching points for laying checks and stripes, use of marker templates, automatic generation of fusing blocks, consideration of material flaws and shrinkage and many more. Special marker options for folded lays or tubular material and step-lays can be selected.
Pieces can be selected from different styles to assemble a marker.
In addition to the marker making software, a module for automatic marker optimization 'Autonester' is available.

GRAFIS - Plugin for VStitcher from Browzwear
The innovative plug-in allows GRAFIS 2D CAD users to transform their 2D patterns easily into realistic 3D apparel. A user-friendly interface enables the user to record all data required for the 3D simulation already within the GRAFIS 2D style. The plug-in allows for direct transfer of this data into VStitcher.
Fit optimisation and style modification of GRAFIS styles can easily be done by altering the interactive GRAFIS basic blocks through drag or numerical entry. As GRAFIS works with a hereditary structure, recalculation of all parts leads to instant adjustment of all dependent pattern pieces.
All alterations of GRAFIS styles are translated instantly into 3D without the need for further intervention in VStitcher.

GRAFIS – Digital camera instead 3D Body Scanner
ProfileFitPattern allows within a few minutes the extraction of body measurements of a particular person from digital photos. The 3D body scanner is no longer required.
A customer is photographed in front and side profile in a predefined stance. The images can be generated by the customer, for example for on-line ordering of made-to-measure garments. These photos are then processed in the ProfileFitPattern Photo programme and saved as photo silhouettes.
The photos are rectified, aligned and cropped with PFP Photo. The contours of the front and side can be captured and imported into GRAFIS CAD together with the photos. The images and contours serve in GRAFIS CAD as a template for a profile construction, with which the silhouettes of front and side view are interactively traced.
GRAFIS CAD determines the length, width and circumference body measurements from this profile. These can be used as a measurement chart for style development, enabling you to realise existing styles directly for individual customers.

GRAFIS - CAD Pattern design
GRAFIS CAD works with the construction principle as a standard procedure. Body measurement charts are used to draft basic blocks which are then, modified into styles and production patterns. The interactive basic blocks delivered with the GRAFIS CAD software relate to the measurement charts.
The large number of interactive basic blocks delivered with GRAFIS CAD such as bodice, trousers, skirt, sleeve, collar, pockets and others contain drafting instructions which are recalculated with the selected measurement charts. These interactive basic blocks can easily be altered through click and drag or numerical entry offering a wealth of options for fit optimisation and style modification.
During grading individual points can be influenced through adjustment of break sizes. As GRAFIS CAD works with a hereditary structure, connections between parts are created automatically. Alteration of a development part leads to recalculation of all parts and therefore, adjustment of all dependent pattern pieces. This dependency achieves effective and fast creation of style variations.

GRAFIS – Cut-order Planner
The GRAFIS Cut-order Planner supports the division of markers.
Especially for larger order quantities with specific size breakdown, the allocation to markers becomes very complex. In addition, different materials, article batches, varying material widths and other specifications must be taken into account. The GRAFIS Cut-order Planner enables the management of order parameters, quantities and markers.
For importing order data directly, the GRAFIS Cut-order Planner can be connected to an existing merchandise management system. The processing of orders can be automated by using the GRAFIS Autonester.
Then, GRAFIS Cut-order Planner arranges the layed markers into cutting stacks, taking into account the maximum layer height and table length of the cutter. Finally, corresponding marker chains can be plotted and print forms can be printed, if desired.
The cut-order planning data is filed in a database.
