About us
Vizoo provides solutions in the area of material digitization.
Since 2013 our cutting-edge hardware and software made in Germany generate true to life materials and fabrics is a foundational component for 3D fashion and product visualization. Vizoo consists of a competent and diverse team of 25 employees from 9 countries united by the passion for digitization and automation, located in two offices in Germany as well as one in the US.
The main products, the xTex scanner and xTex software, capture the visual properties of a material’s surface and process the data into seamlessly repeatable 3D texture maps. In combination with the brand new physX platform the addition of physical draping information happens within seconds. Furthermore, using an experienced team of 3D artists, Vizoo offers a material digitization and render services.

Vizoo xTex Software
The great combination between xTex scanner and xTex software processes the data coming from the camera and offers smart algorithms to create seamless repeats and more for the resulting 3D textures.
- Texture Creation
Using multiple images from a single material, xTex creates physically-accurate textures describing Color, Reflection, Structure and Transparency.
- Seamless Repeat
The core of the software is the creation of seamless repeats from the input textures. Intelligent algorithms will help you identify patterns and even synthesize big textures from small material samples.
- Recoloring
An automatic solution to recolor single and even multicolored materials with just a single click.
- Rendering
Generate an image for the fabric online shop, a digital sample card or a preview image of the material on a product. This all happens with the click of a butten using the integrated render feature.
- Single Image workflow
Use the xTex algorithms even without the scanner. There’s an importer for single images, e.g. from a flatbed scanner or smartphone.

Vizoo xTex A2 scanner
The xTex Scanner allows the measurement of material samples up to 60 x 40 cm with a capture time of 1-2 minutes for 3D visualization purposes. It consists of a high-quality DSLR camera and a body with several complex light setups installed.

Vizoo xTex A4 Scanner
The xTex Scanner allows the measurement of material samples up to 21 x 29 cm with a capture time of 1-2 minutes for 3D visualization purposes. It consists of a high-quality DSLR camera and a body with several complex light setups installed.

Use the physX engine auto prediction to assign physical properties with one click!
The physX database offers a validated set of physical draping presets. A simple classification, filter and preview facilitate the search for the matching drape for you digitized material.
The brand new physX converstion enables the user to measure only once and retrieve output for multiple simulation engines (e.g. browzwear and CLO3D).
