Textile Printing & Sustainability conference
Description
The second edition of the Textile Printing & Sustainability (TPS) conference will take place on 15- 16 October 2024 in Düsseldorf. Key market players and leading academic institutes are joining this platform to discuss solutions for a responsible textile industry and the contribution of printing technologies.
From material science, through print systems, to microfactories and finishing – TPS brings together all those who drive change and lead to innovation.
“We have been following closely the latest developments of EU’s Green Deal, as well as the global guidelines resulting from UN’s Sustainable Development Goals, including the UN Alliance for Sustainable Fashion,” explains Peter Buttiens, CEO of ESMA, the conference organiser. “Their deadlines are approaching quickly and there is no time to waste, also for the printing industry. At TPS the focus lies on reduced water consumption and carbon footprint achieved with e.g. natural fibres or innovative inks which do not require pre-treatment and allow for energy savings in the post-treatment process, too. In general, we emphasise the optimisation of every production and handling step.”
The conference covers the entire supply chain, involves manufacturers of products which support the handling of fabrics (pre- and post-treatment), the printing process itself (inks and equipment), as well as printers, value added resellers and brand owners. All interested can now reserve their exhibition and presentation slot at info@esma.com.
