About us
Sew Systems design and manufacture a range of heat bonding machines from our head office in the UK, that are designed to use hot melt adhesive tapes to glue seams together and replace stitching. We are the original designers and manufacturers of this technology and since we designed our first machine over 20 years ago. Our patented systems and modular adaptable designs have helped to sell over 5000 machines world wide. We also offer a full range of quality Ultrasonic, heat press and seam seal machines.
We have a fully equipped bonding showroom and assembly plant situated in the Leicester, England, along with our fully equipped manufacturing plant with highly skilled engineers where we proudly manufacture, in house 95% of the parts that are used on our machines.
Utilising CAD design and modelling facilities, we manufacture our range of bonding machines as well as other specialised machines allied to the textile industry. Our Directors and engineers alike are all time served, with most being with the company for over 20 years and are all dedicated to producing quality parts and machinery for the textile industry for many years to come.
Using the knowledge that we have built up over many years in the textile industry and in particular the bonded garment sector, Sew Systems set up a small but specialised garment manufacturing division in the UK where we consult, develop and manufacture specialised technical bonded garments. Many of these garments integrate electronics and wearable technology that provides physiological data and house medical devices that are critical in the fields of athletics, medical, Military and the emergency services.

Our Products
AT900V Bonding machine
This AT900V machine uses a hot melt glue to create a sew free seam. It is primarily used to turn over and bond down a hem or lap seam as a 2nd operation machine.
This Patented design features continuous heated silicon belts and hot air to activate the adhesive, leaving a flat smooth, comfortable seam.
The machine is part of our convertable range which allows interchangable parts to be fitted so that your machine function can change inline with your manufacturing needs.
The machine is available with a manual or an electronic metering device, which is integrally linked with the
machine electronics, so that it can be used for applying elastic or tapes with adjustable differential drive settings to create the perfect finish.
AT850KVM
The AT850K machine applies adhesive film or fabric tape to the edge of a garment and trims the excess
fabric level with the adhesive edge. While applying the adhesive film, the machine can be set to pull in the
garment edge slightly to achieve a flat final bond. With running speeds capable of up to 8.5 meters per
minute and up to 5 differential speed adjustments in each program, allowing the machine to bond complex
shapes with ease.
The machine has very simple operator controls and is perfect for bonding all types of lingerie, sportswear,
and compression garments as well as waterproof and outerwear garments.
Model shown is the AT850KHM with adjustable Electronic metering system for different tension settings in
a single seam and optional front heater that moves into position when the machine is operated.
AT900R
This AT750R model of the new design touchscreen range of bonding machines, is primarily designed for
hemming over on curved or shaped garments such as bra cup covers etc. It utilises various sizes and
thicknesses of top heated belt, combind with hot air and a soft silicon bottom drive roller.
The machine is designed to use all your old AT750 conversion parts whilst having the advantage of a new
quick change location system and flat-bed working area. Patented design features with continuous heated
silicon belts and both top and bottom hot air.
This versatile machine can be fitted with lots of different fittings for different operations.
